This post is to help explain the differences between our first generation S1 BOX, and our NEW Version S2. Back in 2021 we experienced some manufacturing issues with the supply and the quality of our box. In particular, we were experiencing issues with how the tint color was not the same depending on the production run date. Long story short, we had to find another manufacturer to create our boxes so that we could maintain a consistent supply and higher quality product.
In January 2022, we launched our new Clear Side Display S2 Box and we couldn’t be more excited about how much better quality our boxes are now. Below is diagram illustrating the differences between the box size, design and stacking mechanism.

The key differences with the New S2 Box are as follows:
- Stronger closure magnets to help keep door securely closed
- Minimal dimension change. Interior volume capacity is slightly smaller
- Higher grade plastic for stronger durability
- New Top/Bottom stacking grid molded for better stability
